When we were looking for a PWD, we contacted 2 breeders & visited both kennels.  We found Sue at Chulsa Kennels so professional & personable in every aspect. After being accepted as PWD parents & waiting for the day we could bring Porsche home, Sue kept us informed at all times by sending us pictures & important information regarding this fantastic breed! Sue is so caring about these dogs. They are born in her kitchen & stay there until they go to their new homes. That's love & dedication in our eyes. I LOVE Farley (Mr.Purple) and so does every person he meets. I attribute his amazing disposition in part to the socialization he received with you before he was 8 weeks old, and to all the great info and helpful hints that you provided after we brought him home; the doggy experience didn't end when we brought him home. My first opinion of Chulsa was "Hey, I"m not adopting a baby here, this is a DOG we are talking about". There were so many questions, so many things they wanted me to do. Obedience school, socializing my dog, they decide which of the litter we get, suggestions on dog food, suggestions on almost everything. And. . . they wanted XXXX dollars for this PWD! And proof of neutering, obedience schooling, etc. etc. Even wanted to see where the heck we lived. Oh Sue, how wrong I was & how right you were. All of the demands, all of the suggestions, all of the requests turned out to be not only in the dog's best interest, but in ours as well. Who says you can't teach an old dog (me) new tricks? You did & I thank you for it. Because of you Sue he has this annoying closeness to my wife rather than me - his only detraction - the cuddles you gave him, or the plate of treats you had at your party, or the liver stuff on your finger to keep his mind off the brushing. He likes girls more than guys. Think of Chulsas as an early training center & health spa... gets dogs on the right track  I've been sent updates on possible health problems in certain dog food, latest training methods, signs of different things to look out for in training & health issues. I don't know of any dog breed or breeder where puppies get introduced to the water by going to a private pool with swim instructors helping the dogs (with life jackets on would you believe?) learn how to swim & making sure the experience is good for all of them. We have been invited to the 'doggy party' (reunion) which was a hoot. Ribbons given out for good performance by dogs (and owners) but just fun ones - no heavy stuff. Chulsa has thought of about everything there is to think about to make the meshing of dog & dog owner a pleasant & successful experience. I highly recommend this breeder & her kennel. I have seen other PWDs & talked to others who got their dogs elsewhere & none of the stories makes me regret my decision to deal with Sue & the crew there. Thanks for everything Sue.
